FuN nIgHt wItH tHe GiRlS~

Tonight was target, Elf, popcorn, and some good laughs with Malin, Cat, and Marte! Great girls with great hearts, love you~

God is so good!

God has been working in my life in so many ways. He gave me a husband, a roof over my head, and a job. I have made some pretty great friends here in Fergus Falls. I've been going to a seminary wives bibles study, and with that we get prayer partners. Mine is a wonderful woman named Kay Borowski. I love that the Lord has put these people in my life and that they are supportive and pray for us.
Some verses that a dear friend showed to me that I would love to share to you readers are:
Psalm 31:3,4
Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me. Free me from the trap that is set for me, for your are my refuge.
Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Philippians 4:6,7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God has taught me patience this fall, I've gotten married, moved somewhere new, and jumped into a job I've never done. There may be real life issues that come up like finances, missing family, and random hardships, but God is always here for us and will always take care of us! I love the Lord and all He does!!!

It's a busy Life

Basicaly true what the title says. It is a busy life... Since my last blog I've been working, dressing up for Halloween, helping at a basketball camp, and taking a last minute trip to the cities. I was asked to help out at a bball camp with 1st to 6th grade girls here at Hillcrest. So yesterday was the first day. It was super fun and they were so uber cute! I can't wait till this next Saturday so I can do it all over again. I loved being out on the court again only this time teaching the game! So great. Then, since I didn't have to work afterwards, I decided last minute that I could go to Nates folks after all for a night. Nate had planned on going, all us kids got Joel (Nate's dad) Gopher Football tickets for an early bday present and so they went to the game (which they won!) and I stayed home with Sue. It was super fun. We had a girls night and got Mcflurries and hit up the redbox to get movies. Then, off to church for the early service today. After church I got to catch up with Lydia and Heidi, my good friends from AFLBS. It was some good times : )
The afternoon was spent eating a fantastic meatloaf by Sue and followed by Vikings and napping, you can guess who did what ha. Now were back in Fergus, Nathaniel translating Greek and myself typing away. Well time to head off to hang out with the girls in the dorm. Good night all.

Day Off~

A day off is always nice and definitely a day of catch up. I finally caught up on DISHES, LAUNDRY, and I even MOPPED the kitchen... An amazing day of accomplishments : ) Oh not to mention today's workout at the Y went very well, but I do need to strengthen my knees that's for sure...
Early evening was relaxing as I visited Nathaniel at work and worked on my Esther study for the Sem Wives Thurs. night bible study. Esther is so unique, God's name is not said but He was definitely seen in this book of the bible. Oh and after I worked on my study I dug into the Cafes new artichoke dip! MMMmmm so good. It was nice sitting at the side of the coffee bar watching Nathaniel work, If I can't hang out with Him might as well be near Him. He even gave me the extra from the drinks he made, "tasty" is all I have to say! After Nate was done for the night we sat at one of the tables as He relaxed and finally ate at 8p.m.! Poor guy...
We got home and had family time as I call it, and played CONNECT FOUR so great. As for the end of this night it ended with a sweet costume party at what we call family groups with the girls and there was candy, pop, and prizes for the best costumes. I was a cute pirate and was the only pirate at that. Now I'm about to hit the sack and call it a night. OH I almost forgot! Nate put together a roast tonight! We bought the ingredients Last weekend, and decided we need to make it before it goes bad, isn't he the greatest. Well I'm off for now.

Best Husband Ever~

Ok so I had a pretty amazing day! Today was a short 3 hour day at the cafe. It went by fast and I even had a rush of Hillcrest kids visit and get lunch to go, since they must of had open lunch for day of prayer. They were so polite today and so fun to take care of! I love living here at Hillcrest and hanging out with these kids the Lord has brought here to Fergus.

After work my prayer partner Kay Borowski met me for lunch at the Cafe and we got to know each other over sweet food and topped it off with beignets! They are the best little french donuts topped with powedered sugar! Also we exchanged prayer requests and she even gave me a super cute gift! It was a little sign that said prayer with a mirror behind it with spots for 3 little candle holders... She is so wonderful and I am so glad God brought us together!

I came home to the love of my life as he was on the phone with college loan ppl. Praise the Lord even tho LBS (Lutheran Brethren Seminary) isn't a title 4 college the loan ppl are still letting us apply for a deferment! Then I was so tired I took a nap. I then not only got woke up by a kiss from my man to then get lead out to the kitchen to a supper that was already on the table! Wow could I ask for anything more! Oh I love Nathaniel Christian Nash so so so much! Now tonight I am watching Cars with some kids from HLA (Hillcrest). Tomorrow is a day off and I'll be doing laundry and dishes! Yay I'm behind from not having a day off last week oh man. Well peace out!

Exhausted...

Wow, what a day. I worked out at the YMCA this morning, I am in a class called body blast. It certainly kicked my butt. We use weighted bars, work our arms, legs, and abs. Lets just say one should never stop working out after high school, cause you will regret it later. Then, I rushed home showered up and headed to work at the Cafe. It was a decent speed during the lunch hour today, and I took care of a fun group of ladies. Then in the afternoon it was so slow I swept the floor, and went all adventurous and used the small broom instead of the long dry mop one. Let me tell you it took longer, but gave me something to do. Oh yes my amazing husband came in to work on homework and drink his usual americano with cream. Now I'm relaxing in the blue recliner taking a breather before we eat supper.

Tomorrow its back to work at cafe 116 where I am a server, smile, and take orders. Nate has seminary and I'll prolly pic up and do some laundry after the weekend.
